Dr. K was the doctor at our local ER the other day. I have a vascular/tissue disorder that is considered rare & the symptoms that sent me to the ER could have easily been dismissed. He was thorough, looking over all previous medical tests; considerate, and understanding, asking questions about my condition & answering questions we had about the results of test he was running, etc. Fortunately everything with my condition was stable this time; It is difficult having a condition that you are never sure if this time what you are experiencing is life threatening & you should head to ER or not. The understanding and compassion that Dr.K treated us with was/is truly appreciated.

Dr Thomas Krajewski is the most compassionate empathetic provider I have seen at Ochsner. My husband has been admitted to an Ochsner facility 3 times in last 3 weeks and have met and been treated by 9 other doctors and none of the others seemed to know how to listen and/or provide quality care without having to repeat ourselves and insist on what he needed. Dr Krajewski reviewed his medical record before coming in to evaluate him. He sat down, asked questions, and took time to listen to our answers. Then treated him like we would all like to be treated... As though we were his family members, who he had concerns about and he truly cared about his comfort and the outcome. He clearly discussed a plan and included us in some of the decision making. It's rare to find a true "Doctor" anymore, but my husband and I found one that night....Dr Krajewski
