Biography
Zachary earned his Bachelor of Science in nursing from Northwestern State University and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Louisiana State University. He completed his Master of Science in nursing with a focus in family nurse practitioner studies at Southeastern Louisiana University. Zachary is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Zachary’s clinical experience includes independent assessments, injury evaluations, joint injections and rehabilitation planning in collaboration with physical therapists and orthopedic specialists. Prior to his nursing career, he was a professional athlete in the Houston Astros organization, giving him first-hand insight into injury prevention, recovery and performance optimization.
Dedicated to community service, Zachary has been actively involved in numerous outreach and mentorship programs. He brings the same dedication, teamwork and resilience from the field into the clinic, ensuring each patient receives personalized, high-quality orthopedic care. Outside of medicine, Zachary values spending quality time with his wife and two sons and finds fulfillment in coaching young baseball players. He also enjoys cooking and hosting gatherings for friends and family. One of his favorite pastimes is traveling with loved ones to attend sporting events at different stadiums across the country.
