Ochsner Health Center – Tangipahoa provides healthcare services for the entire family with physicians specializing in family medicine, diabetes management, allergy, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology and much more. Thanks to Ochsner’s coordinated system of care, our physicians can also easily refer patients to specialists if the need arises.
Whether in Hammond or any of the other Ochsner locations throughout Louisiana, Ochsner stays up-to-date with your medical information through our integrated electronic medical record system. Electronic medical records provide your physician access to your information from any location, eliminating the need to bring records from facility to facility and reducing the risk for lost paper records.

Love the care from the Drs A+, that we get at the Oschner Clinic in Hammond La!! And the Customer service on the phone or in person from the person who greets us at the door, lab assistants are awesome and the nurses!! All are so proactive with our health and concerns!!

Once I finally saw the doctor she was extremely thorough in addressing my concerns. My only complaint is that I made an early morning appointment (8:20 am) and was not called inside until 8:35. After sitting with the nurse for about 5-7 minutes, I was sitting in the room for another extended period of time. It was 9:03 when I finally saw the doctor which is 43 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I work full time and made an early appointment to ensure I wouldn't have extended wait times (being one of the first appointments of the day, there is less of a likelihood someone will be late and cause the dr to be behind schedule). Regardless, once seen I appreciated the concern for my health/quality of care. Time is precious for all of us, and Ochsner is so efficient and technologically advanced with the mychart app. A little communication to let me know they're running behind would be appreciated so I can communicate that to my job/workplace.

I waited 40 minutes for flu & covid tests while by the front door. I had to call what was taking so long. The nurse was not too kind when doing tests.

Like I said my other comment my doctor said that I needed to be seen for my toe and my diabetes sugar level but I have not been offered a bus to be seen I'm not Overdrive so that isn't very much help I have asked about a scooter or a motorized wheelchair because of not strong enough to move a standard wheelchair but I have not heard anything back on that so the dean told I need to be seen isn't much help thank you

I’ve been using Ochsner in Hammond since we had our first wellness exam with the state insurance- I liked it so much I’ve never stopped going there. I can always get a reply through My-Chart If I need something & it’s quite simple to check for test results or make appointments. Dr Hudspeth has always met my medical needs or questions. The Nurse Practitioners & staff are very courteous/ professional/ and they listen to your medical questions. It’s a pleasure to go their.

I've been seeing Nina Jackson for years. Ill be starting school in the fall so I needed to be updated on a few things. I've never felt so comfortable with a medical provider as I have her. She is amazing all the way around. Anytime I have a concern, she is always willing to listen and never judges.

I lost my father 2 weeks ago and have been having a difficult time - my messages were answered quickly and with compassion by the nurse Paula and Dr Ingolia. I am thankful to have such a caring and responsive support- Dr Ingolia is a true asset to Ochsner!
