Ochsner Health Center – Prairieville

I went to the clinic to establish primary care with Dr. Stacey Jones-Pedescleaux. My visit was excellent. Nurse Stephanie was very cordial and professional. Dr. Stacey Jones-Pedescleaux was very nice, attentive and professional. I was provided excellent medical service.

Had a Pap smear done by nurse Laketra Whitney. She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to ,however, the nursing staff over here is not very professional or inviting. When I was in the room waiting on Mrs. Laketra one of the nurses, short light skin black lady with a bob and colored contacts, walked in looking for her and never said a word to me whatsoever. It just came off as very unprofessional and kind of rude considering the fact that all I had on was a gown and she quite literally looked around the curtain to see who else was in the room. She could have said hello and asked if anyone else was in the room or atleast told me she was looking for someone but she just blankly looked at me and slammed the door. Things like this make people think twice before coming back to schedule exams in the future. The overall exam experience was good but this particular nurse and some of the others need training on how to have better work etiquette. Having a doctors appointment is already tense, other factors do not need to make it worse.

Highly recommended for primary care and mammography. Incredible care in these areas. Not a fan of podiatry since I was pushed toward surgery before less severe treatment measures were taken. Separate areas for primary and specialty care make checkin easier. The front desk staff is very helpful. Plenty of parking.

This is a great place to find excellent care and the best attitudes and kind helpful people from the front desk to the girls in the lab they're all very darling!

Good experience inside and out.

I can’t even begin to describe how grateful I am for this office. Dr. Baird and his PA Lindse York are so wonderful. They listen to your needs, give straightforward advice and offer effective solutions. The office staff is the friendliest group of people. Whenever I have a Rx question or need they are so quick to address it. I feel incredibly lucky to be a patient at this practice.

The Doctor and staff at Oschner Health have been very efficient in scheduling prompt appointments, to their specialists, and diagnostics to aid in my total wellness! They genuinely have cared, with great kindnesses, for my overall mental and physical health!

My yearly visit was wonderful with Dr. Katie. In the absence of my Primary doctor and the timing of not being able to get into her. However, I brought my husband back the next day due to him feeling awful and the extreme long wait at Urgent Care. We came back the next afternoon for him. He tested positive for Covid 🥺 and I asked if they could test me and they didn't have time in their schedule. That was frustrating to me. No one was in the waiting room. Otherwise, I appreciate the lady at the front desk getting my husband in for an appointment the same day.

Everyone is very helpful

Dr. Clayton is AWESOME. She actually listens to you and comes up with a treatment plan.
