Amanda Stromeyer is a physician assistant specializing in urgent care medicine at Ochsner Health. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from Nicholls State University, subsequently earning a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She practiced in emergency medicine before joining the Ochsner team in 2021, and is currently credentialed in Louisiana and Mississippi. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys baking, crafting and spending time with her husband and two daughters. Amanda has a heart for empathetic patient-centered care when her patients are feeling their worst while acutely ill.
