Jackie Oanh Nguyen practices urgent care medicine at Ochsner Health. Jackie received a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 2015. Her clinical training consists of Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, ENT surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Internal/Family Medicine, Pediatric Medicine, Inpatient Medicine, Psychiatry and Gynecology. Jackie has practiced hospital medicine at Ochsner Extended Care Hospital (LTAC) for over a year and medical dermatology with a private practice for over six years. In July 2023, she joined Ochsner Urgent Care and Occupational Health Department. She works on the south shore of the Greater New Orleans area.Jackie is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is an active member of American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Louisiana Association of Physician Assistants (LAPA) and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
