These wait times reflect the approximate wait for patients, who do not have an emergency medical condition, to see a physician at each Ochsner ER. Every patient is evaluated by a quick look nurse immediately upon arrival. Those patients determined to have an emergency medical condition or any condition requiring immediate attention will go directly into a room without waiting.
