Terry Nguyen, PA-C, practices urgent care medicine at Ochsner Health. Terry received a Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 2015. While training at Our Lady of the Lake, she completed clinical rotations in emergency medicine, general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, adult medicine, inpatient medicine, endocrinology, pediatric medicine, psychiatry, gynecology and geriatrics. After her training, she started her career in neurosurgery in 2015. She has over ten years of experience in neurological surgery and also has an additional five years of experience with interventional pain medicine. As part of her years of experience in neurosurgery and interventional pain management, she has participated in many outpatient and inpatient procedures including intracranial, spinal and sacroiliac surgeries. She transferred to urgent care and occupational health. Terry is an active member of the Urgent Care Association, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Louisiana Association of Physician Assistants and the Association of Neurosurgical Physician Assistants.
