Mental wellness prehabilitation for surgery at Ochsner Health

Ochsner Health’s Mental Wellness Prehab Program helps patients prepare for surgery by building mental health and stress management skills to support healing and recovery. Prehab may include relaxation techniques, coping strategies, guided imagery and cognitive-behavioral tools.

Wellness prehab is available by referral with Justice Stafford, PsyD. Most patients attend one to four sessions before surgery.
