Michaela Moore, DNP

Michaela Moore, APRN, DNP, is a family nurse practitioner at Ochsner Rush Health. Specializing in family medicine, Michaela has expertise in providing comprehensive care to patients from age two to geriatric. This includes routine wellness examinations, chronic illness management and urgent care services. Michaela earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 2020, from Chamberlain University. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of South Alabama in 2022. She obtained her board certification in 2020, from the American Nursing Credentialing Center. Michaela is a member of the Mississippi Association of Nurse Practitioners to stay updated on medical advancements. Using a patient-centered approach, Michaela strives to ensure that her patients medical needs are met by developing individualized treatment plans with personalized health goals. Outside of medicine, Michaela enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and close friends, working on DIY projects and event planning.
