Darnna Banks, MD, is a pediatric gastroenterologist at Ochsner Health in New Orleans. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu, Hawaii, and completed medical school at the Latin American School of Medicine in Havana, Cuba. She completed her pediatric residency at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois, and her pediatric gastroenterology fellowship, as well as an advanced fellowship in neurogastroenterology and motility at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Banks joined the pediatric gastroenterology team at Ochsner Health with the goal of offering comprehensive care for patients with motility and functional gastrointestinal disorders.
