Dr. Guidry earned his medical degree from the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University, completed a neurology residency at Emory University School of Medicine and completed his sports neurology fellowship at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.
Dr. Guidry is an experienced teacher who has presented at regional and national meetings. He has also authored book chapters in regard to athletes with neurological disease and on transmandibular headaches.
In treating his patients, Dr. Guidry combines his advanced neurology training with his innate understanding of the psyche of the athlete. He has worked with athletes of all ages, including Olympians, in professional combat sports and the Baltimore Ravens. He has also provided on-site coverage for Division I contact sports, equestrian events, and as a ringside physician.
Dr. Guidrys specialties are concussion, whiplash and post-traumatic headache. He is skilled at administering Botox to relieve migraines and at giving occipital trigger-point injections. Dr. Guidry sees patients 7 years of age and older.
