Ochsner Patient Verified Reviews
To obtain patient ratings and comments, we partner with Press Ganey, an independent patient satisfaction company that works with more than 26,000 healthcare organizations to improve the patient experience. These patient verified ratings are based on the “likelihood to recommend” physician scores on the nationally developed Medical Practice Survey. Actual top box results for this question are translated to a 1-5 scale, and the star scores are measured on that scale, with 5 being the best score.
I have been a patient of Dr Mazzulla for several years. He has always made me feel very good and comfortable with his treatment. And will recommend him highly to a friend.
I was shown the pictures on the computer screen as they ALL explained what has occurred with my eye. Full disclosure.
I had a list of questions and the Dr.answered all of my questions

Dr Mazzulla is the best, period
Dr. Mazzulla is a very good doctor. He listens to you. He explains things very well so you can understand what's going on with you condition. We love Dr. Mazzulla.
I feel very confident with the medical care that I am receiving under Dr. Mazzulla's care. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Mazzulla takes care to inform me about any new treatments for my eyes. He keeps me updated from the start when they are being tested all through the FDA approval procedures and the estimate as to when Ochsner will start providing these new Rx's He explains what new contributions these new Rx's offer for me for my vision. He is very careful not to offer unrealistic expectation on my part. Then once he is using the new Rx with his patients, he will explain to me the overall benefits of the new Rx that his patients are experiencing - for instance, less frequent eye injections are needed - perhaps every 4 months instead of evert 2 months.
He is the best! Highly recommended to anyone who asks he cares for his patients & explains everything clearly!
I am completely satisfy

Very informed
Thorough care
Good
I don't often see Dr. Mazzulla in the exam room. I usually see him only in the procedure room. This time I saw him in the exam room- and he devoted a great deal of time in explaining to me where we are right now and where we are going.
