Dr. Denrick Cooper earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton University in molecular biology. He went on to receive a medical degree from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Cooper completed his residency in emergency medicine at Mount Sinai St. Luke's-Mount Sinai West Hospitals in New York City. He then completed his fellowship in international emergency medicine at the same hospital while earning a master's in public health at Columbia University.
Dr. Cooper is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. His interests lie in health disparities and building emergency medicine capacity abroad.
