L. Lee Montgomery, M.D., a native of Mississippi, received his B.A. in chemistry from Millsaps College. He graduated as Valedictorian from Millsaps, Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, receiving the President’s Medal. He went on to earn his M.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where he received the Consummate Physician Award by the prestigious Canby Robinson Society. He furthered his training as Intern and Resident in Family Medicine at Florida Hospital, then the largest hospital in the state.
Dr. Montgomery is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has been elected Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Montgomery is a member of the American Medical Association, the Louisiana State Medical Society, The American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians.
