Raminta Theriault, MD, is the only orthopedic oncology surgeon at Ochsner Medical Center and the Ochsner MD Anderson Benson Cancer Center. She is one of a select few of dual fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons with expertise in both Orthopedic Oncology and Adult Joint Reconstruction in the world. Her goal at Ochsner is to provide excellent patient care to adult and pediatric patients with cancer involving the musculoskeletal system. Dr. Theriault has a special expertise in complex limb-salvage joint reconstruction. She is also active in research with a primary focus on quality improvement for patients with cancer.
