Susan received a bachelor of science in nursing degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She began working at Ochsner as a registered nurse after graduation, and then earned a master of science in nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond. Susan is board certified as a family nurse pracitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and she is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Pracitioners and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.
