Mindfulness Exercises through Virtual Reality

Join Jessica as she guides you through a simple mindfulness exercise that you can easily integrate into your daily life to find some calm. This exercise is a 360° virtual reality experience. It can be explored by clicking and dragging in the video player window, or by looking around with your phone if you are on your mobile device. For the most immersive experience, this exercise can be used with VR headsets and Google Cardboard, ideally with over-the-ear headphones for best audio output.

Help Support Ochsner Employees

To support the devoted staff at Ochsner during this unprecedented time please consider the Employee Assistance Fund. The wellbeing of our employees is so crucial and timely resources will be available from this fund to them as needs arise. The Employee Assistance Fund provides financial assistance for Ochsner employees directly impacted by COVID-19 and exists to provide financial grants to the employees who are our frontline workers and have put their lives on hold to protect ours and those in our communities.

We appreciate the outpouring of support, encouragement and well wishes to our patients by family, friends and our community.  We are accepting community letters for our patients. The messages and cards received will be posted in a gallery on the Ochsner website for patients in and out of the hospital to view.
