Dr. Anna M. Pou earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She completed her residency training in general surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis followed by residency training in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Pou completed her fellowship in head and neck surgery and microvascular reconstruction at the Methodist Hospital of Indiana, Indiana University in Indianapolis.

Dr. Pou is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Head and Neck Society and the Society of University Otolaryngologists. Her clinical interests include the treatment of patients with cancer of the head and neck, including skin cancer, endocrine tumors and the rehabilitation of the head and neck cancer patient.
