Dr. Daniel Englert specializes in endocrinology, with a special interest in osteoporosis and other diseases of bone and mineral metabolism. He completed his undergraduate coursework at LSU in Baton Rouge, graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Englert went on to attend medical school at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha as a junior medical student and graduated in 2011. He then completed an internal medicine internship, residency, and chief residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
After working as a hospitalist for three years, Dr. Englert went on to complete a fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at Ochsner Medical Center. Dr. Englert is originally from Chalmette, Louisiana. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife Lisa and their three children. Dr. Englert joined the Ochsner staff in 2019 in the department of endocrinology and is currently seeing patients at the Ochsner Jefferson Highway campus.
