Elizabeth Karlsson, PA-C

Elizabeth Karlsson, PA-C, received undergraduate degrees in biological sciences from Loyola University New Orleans as well as medical technology from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She then received her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans in 2019. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. She has been on staff at Ochsner since 2019.

Elizabeth was born and raised in New Orleans. As a provider, she strives to show compassion and understanding when caring for her patients. She believes in the importance of open communication and joint decision making between patients and healthcare providers.
