Christopher Edwards, MD, practices neurology with a focus in neuromuscular medicine at Ochsner Health. He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He completed both his residency in neurology and fellowship in neurophysiology at LSU in New Orleans. Dr. Edwards has an interest in neuromuscular diseases and has extensive experience in nerve conduction studies and electromyography. He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Edwards is co-director of the Ochsner ALS Clinic and has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of patients with motor neuron disease. He also has experience in the diagnosis and management of neuromuscular junction diseases like myasthenia gravis, including the use of all FDA-approved medications used in the treatment of the disease.
