Summer Nurse Tech Program
Ochsner Health is now accepting nursing students currently enrolled in either an ADN or BSN program to experience the Ochsner culture and work with a bedside a registered nurse (RN) preceptor. The goal is to shadow the RN and participate in the nursing process while learning the Ochsner mission, vision and values.
This experience is a nine-week commitment, which begins May 20, 2024 and will conclude on July 19, 2024.
Eligibility
- RN Students who have completed one semester of inpatient clinical rotations
- Must be able to work full-time from May 20 until July 19, 2024
Important Information
If selected for the program, you will need to provide the following:
- Sealed transcript from your nursing school showing current standing
- Letter of reference from a nursing instructor or previous employer (letterhead recommended)
- Copy of your American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Card
