Oschner Medical clinic overall has very courteous staff from start to finish, with the exception of TROULLIER, LINDY B.. she is the rudest medical PA I have ever came across. I have had many visits to this location. I have had this particular PA TROULLIER, LINDY B. this first time and only this time. If she is the only person at the clinic I would take my chances on what ever is ailing me and if it gets to bad and an ER visit would be better. This dr had my blood pressure thru the jroof as well as so mad and upset to the point of it tears.

No one wants to have a colonoscopy done, but the staff made it not so horrible. Everyone from registration to the physicians were all friendly and kind. The nurses were caring but efficient, explaining everything they did along the way. The only thing that could have been better was the before and after procedure room. Beds were lined up with curtains pulled around them, allowing just enough space to walk around the bed. It was claustrophobic feeling, and I could hear everything the other patients were telling the staff. Not good for confidential information that I'm certain some didn't want anyone overhearing. Overall, I definitely recommend this location due to the staff being so great. The nurses I had were the pregnant girl and the little blond who wears her hair up with a headband on. Super sweet nurses, deserving of recognition. I'm sorry I don't recall their names.

Carrie in Hematology and Oncology is an asset to the hospital and her department. Carrie is gentle, considerate and can surely catch a running or rolling vein.

I've been having acute pain in my lower back and thought it was a pulled muscle though there was a swollen area also on my side and the skin was hot and nervy. I went to Ochsner Medical Center emergency room and they did blood work, urinalysis, CAT scans but didn't get a definitive diagnosis. Doctor Michelle Carley said all the indicators except for lesions pointed to Shingles but we were not certain. She instructed me to watch it closely and bring my primary care doctor into the loop. She also prescribed medication for shingles just in case. The next morning I noticed that there was one small bleeding lesion where my skin is swollen and tingly. I've set up an appointment with my primary caretaker and started taking the shingles meds just in case. Cudos and 200 IQs to Dr. Carley. Ochsners is by far the best medical facility in the entire area. All you need to do is visit once and you will immediately see the huge difference from the other medical services out there. That was amazing forethought by Dr. Carley. 5000 stars.

My husband just had a cardiac procedure here and had to stay the night. The nurses and support staff were all wonderful. Maurice in the surgery waiting area showed such obvious care and compassion. Nurse Brandi called me at least 4 times during the procedure to explain their findings and progress. If Dr. Brian Jones had not suggested and taken on the procedure, we would still be stuck with troubling symptoms and no clear answers. The nurses made sure we had everything we needed- warm blankets, questions answered, help with luggage, going out of the way to find my husband’s favorite soda. Nurse Kristopher in cardiac recovery took my husband’s outcome very seriously and was great company for a several-hour stay. Nurses Natashia, Mike and Tyra on telemetry provided a hospital stay that allowed my husband to actually rest while still being monitored safely. The director of nursing stopped by to check on us and seek feedback and she apologized for the one inconvenience we experienced (an iv monitor going off and not being adjusted during a shift change, which although annoying seems to happen in every hospital and isn’t usually fixed as efficiently as this was). As the support person for the patient I felt truly seen and cared for. Everyone was knowledgeable, thoughtful and personable, and this took as much stress as possible out of a naturally stressful situation. RECOMMEND!

I had to have emergency open heart surgery and everyone there treated me GREAT. I should know- I was there 16 days! Get Dr. Mohamed to do your surgery and make sure Jenny Taylor and Chris are your nurses! All Iof the staff was wonderful! Daynel is another great nurse! If you have to be in cardiac ICU make sure you see Annie- she is one of the nurses who coordinates everything you will need! And lets not forget the awesome physical therapy team! Dr. Mohamed is the best! He lets you asks all kinds of questions and he is very patient and kind. His work is GREAT too!!! He checks on you constantly. I do not know how he does it but he makes you feel like you are the only patient he has. You will see him a lot just making sure you are ok!!! Surgery was April 24, 2023.

Ochsner -ER Plaquemine. I was a first timer there and the quality of care was excellent the nurses were competent, respectful and professional. I couldn’t have asked for better care. I recently has a procedure that required me to be hospitalized for 3 days. I can not say enough about the staff that treated me. Everyone was so nice and attentive to my needs. They kept me in good spirts while administering world class health care. I wish I could give every single one of the ladies and gentlemen a gift that made my stay such a joy.
